Mentally challenged woman stones man to death

A mentally challenged woman has stoned an unidentified young man to death.

The incident is reported to have happened on Monday afternoon at the top section of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle interchange.

A video circulating on social media shows the unknown man lying in a pool of blood with a large stone near his right hand.

According to an eyewitness the woman struck the deceased, who was a pillion rider on a moving okada on one of the interchange levels.

The eyewitness narrated that the woman pounced on him and attacked him with the large stone after he fell off the motorbike.

Per the report, there were no passers-by at the time of the attack.

“The man died before passersby arrived at the scene.”

She was handcuffed and transported in a police pickup truck bucket, escorted by three officers and a man in civilian clothing.
