Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, known by the stage name Medikal, has announced his decision to halt smoking and drinking.

According to the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker, he is staying away from the act for some time until his highly anticipated music album is done.

The rapper who is married to the actress, Precious Frimpong, well known as Fella Makafui, is expected to launch a new album dubbed ‘Planning & Plotting’.

Following this, Medikal intimated that he is putting in efforts to dedicating much of his time  into the planning t,hereby, his decision not to engage in any “smoking and drinking” in the interim.

“From today, no more drinking & smoking! Dedicating my time fully to the Planning & Plotting album. Thank you,” Medikal said on his official Twitter account.

Two fans with the account names @Beksam and @Kojo commented on the post that they wished the rapper used the opportunity to quit smoking and drinking permanently.

However, @cypherliq questioned the latter if he would abide by his vow since whatever he does at home will not be seen.
