Police have shot dead three suspected armed robbers at Obosomase-Akuapem in the Eastern Region.
The three after being pursued were gunned down after an exchange of fire with the police.
One other member of the gang of four is currently in the grips of the police. The identity of the suspect who is currently in police custody is yet to be established.
The deceased’s names were only given as Ahwireng, Akroma and Elisha who are all natives of the town. Reports say Ahwireng and Akroma are all ex-convicts.
According to residents of the area, they found the three suspects in a pool of blood when they rushed to the scene after hearing gun shots.
