Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has announced his return to active politics and challenged that “nobody” can ever expel him from the main opposition party.

He has therefore rejected the decision of the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the NDC to be dismissed from the party following a recommendation of the National Disciplinary Committee.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on July 21, 2021, dismissed the party’s former general secretary, Koku Anyidoho from the party following his suspension in February, citing misconduct and anti-party behaviour in relation to article 48(1)(9)(a) of the party’s constitution.

However, after back and forth between Koku Anyidoho and the party, the vocal politician has announced his return to active politics in the NDC because he has not been sacked and clarified that nobody can sack him from the party.

According to him, in a series of tweets, he intends to take back what legitimately belongs to the party from those who have hijacked the party.

Nobody has sacked me from NDC and nobody can sack me from NDC.

“Nobody has sacked me from NDC, and nobody can sack me from NDC. I am back full swing into active NDC politics, and we shall not pay any ransom to those who have hijacked our PARTY: we shall take back what legitimately belongs to us. “Revo Revo Revolution, has a long way to go but has come to stay” Who born dog?”

“The House Cleaning Exercise has started in the NDC: We shall sweep out the charlatans; restore dignity to NDC & appease the souls of the real fallen fighters & Founding Fathers/Mothers of the Revolution. “We no go sit down make dem cheat us everyday. Walahi! Aluta continua,” Anyidoho declares in a tweet.

The Executive Director of the Anyidoho Institute has also taken exception to the NDC’s incumbent General Secretary, Asiedu Nketiah asking him to provide evidence supporting his sacking from the party.

“Let Asiedu-Nketiah provide material evidence as to the steps that supposedly led to him having a mental masturbation and dreaming that he has sacked me from the NDC,” Samuel Koku Anyidoho call Asiedu Nketiah into question.
