Accra Hearts of Oak has celebrated their star player, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh on his call-up into the Black Star’s 29-man squad for its pre-world cup friendly matches.

Coach Otto Addo included the attacker in his squad to face Brazil and Nicaragua in two separate pre-world cup friendly matches ahead of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars will take on the Samba Boys of Brazil on Friday, September 23, at the Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Barnieh, who was given the opportunity by Coach Otto Addo during the 2022 Kirin tournament in Japan, in June maintains his spot in the team following his recent outstanding performance with the Black Galaxies.

Moments after the squad was announced, Accra Hearts of Oak took to their social media page to acknowledge the player.

They proclaimed that they are “proud” of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored four goals for the Black Galaxies helping them to qualify for the 2023 Championship for African Nations Cup (CHAN) over Benin and Nigeria.
