Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has admitted to making mistakes in his player selection that led to his side losing to five times World champions, Brazil.
Coach Otto Addo’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat on Friday night to Brazil at the Stade Oceane at Le Harve in France.
First-half goals from Marquinhos and a brace from Richarlison gave the Selecao a comfortable victory over the Black Stars.
Otto Addo assembled a relatively weaker side at the start of the game which contributed to the team’s defeat.
However, speaking after the game, Otto Addo said he takes full responsibility for the loss and has learned lessons going into Tuesday’s game against Nicaragua.
“I will start with myself, maybe that’s what was wrong.
“I have to look at it again and question myself but also I will look at the boys.
“It is not like when we play badly it’s always on the boys so I am involved as well,” he said at the post-match conference.
The Black Stars now turn their attention to their next assignment against Nicaragua in another friendly in Spain on Tuesday, September 27.
