Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has served notice to leadership of the party that he will place an injunction on the upcoming national delegates conference if he is disqualified from voting.

Koku Anyidoho indicated that he will resist any attempt by the incumbent General Secretary of the party, Asiedu Nketia to axe his name from the album as a delegate.

Reiterating his call of being a party member despite his suspension from the party over his supposed conduct, the firebrand politician believes he is still mandated as a delegate to partake in the exercise meant to elect leaders to lead the party in the next four years.

Koku Anyidoho, has, however, stated categorically that, he will not hesitate to seek for injunction at the law court to ensure the election is put on hold should Asiedu Nketiah try to test the waters by preventing him from exercising his franchise.

“I am serving notice if for any reason and Asiedu Nketiah makes a mistake and takes my name out of the delegates list, I will place an injunction on the congress. I have served that notice… you [Asiedu Nketiah], make a mistake… I will place injunction on the congress, and we shall see,” he boldly declared on the Anopa Bofo Morning Show on Angel FM/TV.

According to him, he qualifies as a delegate of the party because he is still a card bearing member of the NDC.

In his view, no one can sack him from the NDC.

He further challenged the latter that if he is ‘man of balls’ amidst dismissing him from the party, he should go to his constituency in the Volta Region and do so and he will be made to see the true colors of Koku Anyidoho.

According to the embattled NDC man, Asiedu Nketiah’s is anti-NDC because his actions and inactions are contrary to the party’s anthem which talks about “strength in unity” and added that the General Secretary has only resorted to “dividing the party.”

“If you are a general secretary and you are busily dividing the party, you are not part of the NDC, everything that you are doing is anti-NDC. This is what we call anti-party conduct. Asiedu Nketiah is the embodiment of anti-party conduct in this country,” Koku Anyidoho told Kwamina Sam Biney.
