I loved school but it didn’t help me – Lil Win reveals

Ghanaian Actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win in showbiz has disclosed that he stopped schooling because he was not good when it came to academics.

He said in an interview that he quit school while in primary six.

He however, stressed that despite quitting he loved the concept of schooling and encouraged more people to be educated.

“I loved school but it wasn’t helping me…I was always last [in class]. ..the teacher even asked me to stop writing because whether I write or not I will be promoted because I wasn’t academically good”, he said while speaking to Giovanni Caleb on TV3.

I always failed my exams, and I was not great at learning. However, education does not determine one’s future because one can still make it in life.

Lil win also said that he doesn’t have cars for his personal use, but he has over 10 school vehicles that he has provided to his school for the transportation of his students.

He added that he still needs more buses because the students are many now.

Great Minds International School is a school he built in the Ashanti Region over three years ago. And he also indicated that, he has more students more than thousand. According to the Ghanaian Actor, he said the school has been able to produce a first batch of BECE Candies.

Lil win also revealed the challenges his school has been facing citing economic hardship as one. According to him, he spends about 200,000,000 cedis a week on fuel.
