The head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo is expected today, Monday, November 14, 2022, to announce the final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The announcement comes after the coach released a 55-man provisional list last week and as a requirement by Fifa.

As expected, Otto Addo, together with his technical team will announce the squad at 11:00 AM at the Multichoice Office in Accra.

But ahead of the imminent announcement of the squad, Ghana has been dealt a big blow with reports suggesting that some key players have sustained injuries.

Richard Ofori, Jojo Wollacott, and Baba Iddrisu could miss out on the World Cup having reportedly been injured at club level.

The team will open camp in Abu Dhabi and will play Switzerland on November 17 before travelling to Doha on November 19, for the tournament proper.

The Black Stars having been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal Uruguay and South Korea will be making their fourth appearance at the World’s biggest football competition after 2006, 2010, and 2014.
