Dreams FC holds Accra Hearts of Oak in dramatic 2-2 draw

Dreams FC has held Accra Hearts of Oak to a 2-2 draw game at the Accra Sports Stadium in the match week eight of the 2022/23 betpawa Ghana Premier League.

The game played on Sunday afternoon saw the Phobians go down twice before staging a comeback to earn a point with the 2-2 scoreline with the Still Believe lads.

David William Van Dijk who scored twice for Dreams FC, gave his side the lead in the 14th minutes before adding the second in the 48th minutes.

Accra Hearts reduce the deficit in the 75th minutes after Collins Boah scored an own goal following a miskick over the head of his goalkeeper Lord Bawa Martey.

The home side through Benjamin Yorke on stoppage time scored a thunderbolt goal to give Accra Hearts Oak the needed equalizer.

The point for the phobians placed them 5th on the league table with 13 points after eight games while Dreams FC occupies the 16th position with eight points.

Elsewhere in Berekum, Berekum Chelsea handed Accra Great Olympics their second defeat of the season with a 1-0 scoreline after they lost 2-0 to Legon Cities.
