Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been cautioned to ensure that they do not allow their differences that greeted the national delegates’ congress to go beyond the exercise.

According to the party’s national chairman, Samauel Ofosu-Ampofo, allowing their differences to overrule its oneness and efforts of recapturing power will become a great disservice to Ghanaians.

In the incumbent chairman’s view, Ghanaians will be let down if the NDC fails to put their pieces together in the lead-up to 2024 to save Ghanaians from “the wickedness, ineptitude and catastrophic NPP government.”

He said “Our differences should end after the declaration of the winners today, those we are in contest with are the NPP. We will be letting all Ghanaians down if we let our differences go beyond today.”

Ofosu-Ampofo gave the advice during his address at the delegates’ congress on Saturday.

He underscored the need for the NDC family to send signals to Ghanaians that they are a party of choice therefore they will remain unified and strong after electing its executives to lead for the next four years.

The former Regional Minister of the Eastern Region was optimistic that the conference that marks the 10th anniversary of the party’s delegates congress will become a reference point of change in government in the country come 2024.

“Today will mark the beginning of our march towards rescuing Ghana from the wickedness, ineptitude and catastrophic NPP government. In 2024 we will snatch not only parliament but also the presidency from the NPP government,” said Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
