The Financial Manager of the CEDECO Group of Companies, Sebastian Selasi Yormasah has entreated Ghanaians to share their resources with unfortunate and marginalized persons in society during this festive season.
This, according to him, is a way of ensuring that other members of society also appreciate and celebrate the true meaning of the season of giving.
“It’s the end of the year and the season of giving, all Ghanaians especially the institutions ought to give back to the very society which has given them life so our brothers and sisters who are quite unfortunate can also benefit from the blessings we are enjoying…,” he said.
Mr Yormassi offered this advice when he led a team from the CEDECO Group to donate assorted items to the Royal Seed Orphanage at Papase No. 1 in the Awutu Senya District of the Central Region.
The bags of rice, gallons of oil, boxes of sardines and soap, packs of assorted drinks and bottle water, he added, were presented to the Orphanage of as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and their way of giving back to the society which has nurtured and sustained the CEO and other staff in the group.
The Financial Manager and staff of the group who were touched by the plight of the children at the care facility entreated other members of the public to come to the aide of the home so their vision of caring for street children, abandoned kids as well as orphans is not cut short.
Founder of the Royal Seed Home, Mrs Naomi Esi Amoah was full of praise to CEDECO Group for coming to their aid and helping to put a smile on the kids.
“We are very grateful to CEDECO Group for this kind gesture made towards us…the Lord bless them for this kind heart towards orphans and marginalized in society…,” she said.
Mrs Amoah further entreated other members of the public to come to their aid so they can continuously offer the best of care to the inmates of the home.
