On May 9, 2023, Angelonline.com.gh published a story about alleged disquiet at Ghana News Agency (GNA).
In the said article, it was alleged among others that, the General Manager for Ghana News Agency, Albert Kofi Owusu, had reached the compulsory retirement age of 60.
The publication also claimed Mr Owusu had served his term of four years at the state news agency.
Our attention has, however, been drawn to the erroneous report carried on our website which was widely reproduced by other online portals.
We at Angelonline.com.gh and Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), therefore retract and apologise unreservedly, for the erroneous publication and pledge to ensure no such is repeated.
