The Ghana Police administration has announced that at least four suspects have so far been arrested in connection with the bullion van attack in Ablekuma, a suburb of Accra on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
On the faithful day, in a daylight robbery, General corporal Callistus Amoah was killed in the attack as an escort.
The police issued a statement on Sunday (16 July) announcing that “one of the suspects was arrested” on Saturday, 15 July.
The four, police say are in custody assisting police investigation.
“Further details will be communicated in due course,” the police said in its update on the incident.
