Five lucky taxi drivers who are active listeners of Angel 102.9 FM walked away with free fuel when they drove into the premises of the company at Abeka-Lapaz.

These lucky Taxi Drivers who were listening to the station’s award-winning Morning show, Angel Morning Show quickly dashed to the station’s premises after the host, Katakyie Afrifa-Mensah announced that he would reward ‘first five taxi drivers who would come to Angel FM premises with GHC 100.00 fuel each’ while signing off the show.

The announcement prompted several Taxi Drivers to drive straight to the premises of the station to access the freebie.

The lucky Taxi drivers were given GHC100.00 by the philantropic host in fufilment of his promise of sponsoring the fuel needs of taxi drivers who are ardent listeners of the show.

Katakyie Afrifa-Mensah during the maiden edition of the show pledged to give free fuel to Taxi Drivers who will remain glued to the show for at least six months.

“For the next six months of my stay at Angel, I will devote a quarter of my salary to buying fuel for taxi and trotro drivers who listen to Angel Morning show…,” he pledged.

He started fulfilling the promise at the end of the second day of the show.
