The video which went viral on social media, saw a student being abused by another and ended with a swollen cheek.

Fast forward, the GES in a statement signed by the Head of the Public Relations Unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo expressed its concern and condemned the barbaric act by the culprits.

It further directed the Regional Director of Education to collaborate closely with both the school authorities and the relevant law enforcement agency to investigate the matter.

GES reaffirmed its commitment to fostering an environment where every student can learn and grow without fear of violence or intimidation.

Meanwhile, the school has suspended the student who abused the victim in the video and has also suspended the boys’ housemaster.

Following the swift response from the school authorities to suspend the alleged perpetrator pending further investigation, the GES acknowledged the school authorities.
