The Central Regional Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Gabriella Tetteh has hinted that the 2024 Flagbearer of the party, John Mahama, will not be a father for all when he is voted for in 2024 elections.

According to her, the former President upon assumption will instead ensure that all appointees of President Akufo-Addo are held accountable for their stewardship.

“John Mahama is not going to be father for all like John Mahama….never, he will ensure accountability by everyone…,” she said on the Kokoase segment of Angel Morning Show on Wednesday.

Seh said the former President is ready to crack the whip to ensure that his appointees become very effective and does not engage in corrupt practices.

Ms Tetteh in her submission on Special Prosecutor’s decision to invade the residence of former Minister, Cecilia Abena Dapaah said John Mahama unlike President Akufo-Addo would operate a government which would have a zero tolerance for corruption.

Two house helps of the former Minister, 18-year-old Patience Botwe and 30-year-old Sarah Agyei have been accused of stealing cash and goods worth millions from Cecilia Abena Dapaah’s home in Abelenkpe, Accra.

They allegedly stole personal effects belonging to the former Sanitation and Water Resource minister including assorted clothes valued at GH¢95,000, handbags, perfumes, and jewellery worth US$95,000.

They have been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and five counts of stealing.

The alleged theft is reported to have occurred between July and October 2022.

Ms Tetteh further lamented to host Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah that the government of President Akufo-Addo has not demonstrated that they are ready to fight corruption which is a canker in this country.
