The main opposition political party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has identified the aspirant they consider to be the weakest link in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer race.

This aspirant, former Member of Parliament (MP) for La-Dadekotopon speaking on Angel Morning Show on Monday, 21st August, 2023, said will be no match for the Flagbearer of the NDC in the 2024 elections.

“Bawumia is the weakest person among the 10 persons seeking to lead the NPP into the 2024 elections…he will be the easiest to defeat…,” he told host, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah.

The former MP who was offering a SWOT analysis of the 10 aspirants said the Vice President per his track record cannot be trusted to hold political office any longer.

“All of them have nothing good to offer…they are all old wines in new bottles…,” he added.

The NPP will this weekend seek to trim the number of aspirants seeking to lead the party into the 2024 elections to five at their super delegates conference.

Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, former Trades Minister, John Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten and Assin Central MP, are the front runners in the race.
