The President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has been challenged to lead Ghana’s army to Niger to fight to restore democracy to prove he is actually in support of ECOWAS decision to deploy troops to the West African country.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) decided to send troops to intervene in the coup in Niger and restore democracy.

The ECOWAS command concluded on this decision after a merting in Accra on Friday.

Interestingly, 52% of Ghanaians who partook in a Global Info Analytics Survey said Ghana must not participate in any military intervention in Niger.

Speaking on Angel Morning Show on Monday, Odike said the President should walk his talk by leading the troops on the ground.

“He shouldn’t stay home and command on paper. He should seek to prove his worth by leading the troops on ground…,” he said.

To him, the military action remains an unnecessary solution to the crisis.
