I’ll hit the nail right to NDC votes in Abuakwa North – Rev. Charles Darko Yeboah

The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abuakwa North Constituency in the Eastern Region, Rev. Charles Darko Yeboah, has assured to work to increase the votes for his party in the 2024 general elections.

According to him, he would intensify his campaign this time around to ensure the NDC unseat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the area.

The Abuakwa North parliamentary seat is currently occupied by, Gifty Twum Ampfo of the NPP.

Rev. Charles Darko Yeboah popularly known as ‘Ozey’ gave the assurance on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Old Tafo-Pipe Ano, where he was nominated by popular acclamation to lead the party in opposition in that constituency.

“I was the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate for NDC in Abuakwa North and I pulled out over 15,000 votes and I promise to increase it come 2024 elections to win the seat,” he told the media after the exercise.

Confirmed now as the Parliamentary Candidate for the area, he promised to address all the differences among some party members in order to promote peace within the party.

Ozey used the medium to show his profound gratitude to the NDC executives and party supporters at Abuakwa North for having trust in him and giving him the chance to go unopposed and represent them in the constituency.

On her part, the Deputy Eastern Regional Women’s Organizer for NDC, Tina Effa-Boadi has called for unity among the executives and party members at Abuakwa North constituency.

According to her, the NDC cannot attain its goal of winning the parliamentary seat in 2024 if there is enmity, bitterness, back-biting and misunderstanding within the party.
