The Central Regional Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Gabriella Tetteh, has applauded the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for his remarkable achievements over the past years.

Speaking on Angel Morning Show hosted by Okatakyie Afirifa – Mensah on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, she said the IGP and his team deserved commendations for utilizing their skills to boost the integrity of the police service.

“Ever since the IGP George Akuffo Dampare came to power, he and his subordinates have been able to utilize their skills in diverse ways towards positive change,” she said.

She added that the current IGP with his team have heightened the level of security in various notorious areas in the country.

“Some places within Obuasi were noted for severe criminal activities and as such some dispatch riders were unable to render services, but ever since the IGP came to power some measures have been put in place to curb these acts,” she remarked.

Gabreilla Tetteh stated that although the country may have faced a lot of lapses within the Police service, one could realize that the current IGP is willing to make adjustment within the security service to enhance change.

“I think the IGP has shown that he is willing to make adjustments within the security service for positive change,” she said.
