Other new signees are Martin Karikari, Rapheal Amponsah and Wanet Kasala Ramos, as well as new head coach Martinus Koopman.

The former Premier League Champions having boosted their squad with the aforementioned players will hope to start the season on a good note amid improving on their poor campaign last season.

Since the return of Real Tamale United to the topflight league in the 2021/22 league season, the team has yet to lose a game against Hearts of Oak in four games, having won three and drawn one.

RTU has won and drawn one each at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium and is yet to lose a game against Hearts of Oak at home.
