Retaining the number one spot on the ballot paper for the New Patriotic Party’s upcoming presidential primaries signals Kennedy Agyapong’s destiny from God, Lawyer Amoh Darteh, spokesperson for the presidential hopeful, has averred.

Lawyer Amoh Darteh’s comment came on the back of the presidential hopeful picking the first spot on the ballot paper during balloting on Wednesday, September 14, 2023.

That said, however, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong faces Vice-President Dr Bawumia, former Agric Minister Dr. Afriyie Akoto, and former MP for Mampong Addai-Nimoh in the fierce contest.

Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia picked the number two spot on the ballot paper with Dr. Afriyie Akoto and Francis Addai-Nimoh picking the third and fourth positions respectively.

Sharing his view on the balloting coupled with the numerical advantage to the four candidates, Lawyer Amoh Darteh stated that Kennedy Agyapong stands tall among the rest because his position on the ballot is a sign of victory.

He is convinced that maintaining the number one spot after the super delegates conference held in August is an attestation to the fact that God has ushered the aspirant for the flagbearer post.

“That is why I maintain my position that no matter what, still he is number one…and there is nothing you can do about it – whether you like it or not he’s the chosen one and once God has spoken it becomes final.

“You know God’s words are final which are unchangeable and that is why we from Kennedy Agyapong’s camp have realized that he has been anointed so he still remains number one,” he affirmed.

“My brother, we are talking about the consistency here in the whole process so definitely this should tell you Kennedy Agyapong has been anointed pending the dee day,” Lawyer Amoh Darteh reiterated to Okatakyire Afrifa-Mensah on the Angel Morning show.

He added that the campaign team supporting Kennedy Agyapong’s bid for the flagbearer slot experts a resounding victory in the upcoming NPP presidential race scheduled for 4th November.

The Lawyer emphasized Agyapong’s unwavering commitment to leading the governing party to retain power in the 2024 general election with his philanthropic and business-minded traits.
