The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing in the Greater Accra Region, has cautioned a Deputy Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Kofi Owusu Bempah over his planned picketing at the office of former president, John Dramani Mahama.

The Youth Wing in a statement cautioned the NPP communicator to be mindful of the of his life before daring to step his foot at Mr. Mahama’s office.

The caution comes on the back of multiple reports that Mr. Bempah who is the convener for a group calling itself, Fixing the Country Movement, is planning to picket at the office of the former Ghanaian leader for creating a mess for the current Government to fix.

Mr Bempah had promised to do the picking afte a 14-day ultimatum given by him had expired.

The NDC Youth Wing elieves Mr. Owusu Bempah’s persistent attack on John Dramani Mahama for the failures of President Akufo-Addo is irrelevant.

“In the event Owusu Bempah and his group remain nonchalant and attempt anything close to what they have announced, they should pay for their coffins and graves before they come..”

The statement signed by the Greater Regional Youth Organizer, Amorse Blessing Amos stated that “There are hundreds of scandals under this government that Owusu Bempah must be interested in. If his government is unable to investigate alleged corruption, he should gird his loins and demonstrate against his own government.”

He continued: “It would only take someone whose brain may probably be on holidays, to dream of doing what Owusu Bempah has announced; all because a certain Akufo Addo/Bawumia government has not taken action on a supposed Airbus scandal.

“Mr Mahama is not in charge of any investigative institution in Ghana. He cannot be blamed for the failures of the Akufo Addo/Bawumia government’s inability to investigate any supposed scandal.”
