Lawmaker for Assin Central and a flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has brought to an end his nationwide listening tour.

The exercise dubbed listening tour was part of Mr. Agyapong’s canvassing activities for vote in the party’s forthcoming presidential race.

The tour, he said, made his camp realized the hardship Ghanaians are facing and their resilience towards it.

“The experience has given me a priceless appreciation of the difficulties facing Ghanaians and the resilience with which they face them. Ghanaians are good people and do not deserve the current hardships.”

He stated that, seeing the unperturbed way we approach youth unemployment, causes him to be restless.

“My conviction of what developmental possibilities exist, given our vast human and other resources, contrasted with our seeming nonchalant attitude towards youth unemployment, makes it difficult for me to keep calm,” Mr. Agyapong noted.

Voicing his eagerness to help bring the potentials of the youth to bear he said “We have a lot of work to do, and I am eager to lead a reinvigorated Ghanaian can-do spirit to unleash our collective potential.”

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong expressed that, the support from Ghanaians gives him a glimmer of hope that the right decisions would be made in the future.

“Your immense support gives me hope that you will make the right decision for Ghana’s future on November 4 despite the threats and intimidation you face.”

He urged all NPP delegates to vote for him come November 4th to lead the ruling party in 2024 and subsequently lead them break the eight-year term

“Let’s finish the job with your vote for a resounding victory on November 4 and I promise to not only break the 8 but to beat Mahama in December 2024 and lead a rebirth our nation has yet to experience,” he opined.

He used the opportunity and thanked all who helped from the beginning to the end.

“My first profound appreciation goes to God Almighty for protecting my team and me. Next,I thank all the local teams who did an amazing job of preparing the grounds for my arrival in their constituencies. Then my team, which travelled with me throughout the country. And finally, the teeming supporters and traditional leaders who opened their enclaves to us.

On the occasion of the completion of my Listening Tour of every constituency in the nation, I take the opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who helped to make it a resounding success,” the youth president appreciated.
