One man supporter leads Ghana Supporters Union to donate to Volta Flood Victims

Must Read

Victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Volta Region received what can be described as a temporary joy when members of the Ghana Supporters Union trooped to Mepe in their numbers to donate and entertain them.

Led by Abraham Nkansah, popularly known as One Man Supporter, the group sang various ‘jama’ songs to entertain the victims who have been through a lot ever since the spill ways of the Volta and Akuse Dams were opened to release excess water from the dams.

The group after the entertainment donated various items to the victims with the hope that the items would go a long to help tackle their plight.

The items included bags of rice, cans of Mackerel, bottles of cooking oil, packs of water and student mattresses and other items.

Leader of the group, One Man supporter, said the group was moved to donate to support the victims as part of their corporate social responsibilities.

“We acknowledge that what we have done is not enough, it’s only a fraction of the kind of support the people need here so we are appealing to other corporate bodies to come in and offer the needed support to them…,” he charged.
