Spokesperson for Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Lawyer Kwaku Amoh-Dartey has questioned the rationale behind calls on the firebrand MP to join forces with the Vice President for the 2024 electioneering campaign.

The leadership of the NPP implored on the firebrand firebrand who polled 36% of valid votes cast during the flagbearer contest of the NPP to join forces with the winner, the Vice President so the party can break the eight.’

“I pledge my support, and we are going to work tirelessly to break the eight. I want to congratulate the vice president…So, party members, we are here; we should put everything behind us and let us unite this party. With unity, I believe we can break the eight, and that is all I have been preaching for…,” he had responded to the calls.

Commenting on the calls and the response on Angel Morning Show on Monday, the Legal Luminary who is also the spokesperson for the Law Maker wondered why the very people who demonised Ken Agyapong now wants him to join forces and campaign for a saint like Bawumia.

“Ah, are they now calling on Ken Agyapong to come help with campaign for Bawumia? Ei, I thought they said he’s a lucifer who is in hell? They should let him be there because it would be a sacrilegious act for a sinner to campaign for a righteous person…,” Amo-Dartey questioned.

He further questioned the motive of the persons who are calling on Ken Agyapong to come from Macedonia and help Dr Bawumia during the 2024 elections.

“Where were they when Ken Agyapong was being bullied? Kennedy is not a fool…so those who want him to campaign for Bawumia ought to remember this…,” he added.
