The Central Regional Communication Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Gabriella Tetteh, has stated that the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) is becoming irrelevant with time.

Miss Tetteh speaking on a panel discussion program on the Angel Morning Show told host, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah that Kissi Agyabeng has now turned the office of the OSP into a ‘lamentations office’.

“When the NPP was in opposition and seeking power, they said a lot about fighting corruption where President Akufo-Addo is even on record to have promised to make the OSP an independent body, support it with the requisite resources to ensure the fight against corruption is completely achieved. But, today, the OSP has turned into a lamentations chamber,” she said on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

The NDC Communicator further told host, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah that it is increasingly becoming appalling that even in an election year, ‘Kissi Agyabeng continues to lament anytime he gets the opportunity to speak before the microphone.’

The continuous lamentations, he added, gives credence to the failure of the appointing authority, Akufo-Addo to fight corruption in his administration.
