NDC not a solution-oriented political party – Adomako Baafi

A former Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has taken a jab at the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to learn to be a party that proffers solutions to the numerous problems facing the country.

According to the vociferous politician, the main opposition party has never been engaged in evidence-based politics accusing the NDC of always arguing without facts.

“Do you know something about the NDC, they always do their politics based on bitterness and hatred,” he told Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, host of the Angel Morning Show.

Yaw Adomako Baafi said this while reacting to the main opposition party’s criticism of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered by President Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

The NPP communicator who called out the NDC’s behavior said it has become usual of them, indicating they always turned to criticise anything positive once it is coming from a different government.

“Secondly, another attribute of the NDC is that always they always preach and sing about poverty but live very large like Arabian kings when they come to power…,” he added.

In contrast, Yaw Adomako Baafi stated empathically that rather it is the NPP that succeeds in resolving the problems for the people with their policies across all sectors.

“They [NDC] spew out their propaganda to the Ghanaian people but we the NPP always come to their aid with our school feeding programs, health insurance, youth employment agencies, etc…. and that is exactly what improves upon the lives of the poor and vulnerable,” he said.

He further entreated the NDC to abstain from such practices and adopt a habit of becoming a solution-oriented party.
