Management of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS) has released postings of trained teachers to undertake their mandatory national service for 2024.
The posting released on Monday, March 4, 2024, saw the NSS deploy 13,516 teachers for their one-year mandatory national service.
In a statement from the NSS signed by Acting, Director, Corporate Affairs, Ambrose Entsiwah Jnr, said all eligible national service personnel are requested to follow due process on the scheme’s website for validation at designated centres in the regions.
“All Service Personnel in this category are therefore required to log onto www.nss.gov.gh on the Scheme’s website to check their placements and then proceed to the various NSS Regional Secretariats to complete the registration process,” the statement said.
However, validation and registration at all regional centres across the country is expected to begin on Friday, March 8, 2024.
The statement further entreated the personnel to accept their postings as part of their civic obligations and contributions to national development.
“Management urges all deployed trained teachers to accept their placements and report accordingly,” the NSS urges.
