Popular gospel artist, Daniel Asamoah known by the stage name Daniel The Singing Prophet kick-started the year 2024 with a historic album launch in Accra on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Christ Apostolic Church International Auditorium, Abeka.

The launch saw spectacular performances from some key industry players in the Gospel terrain. These included Nhyira Betty, Great Ampong, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, among others.

Daniel The Singing Prophet who burst into the music scene some 13 years ago sparked the night with electrifying performances with some of his hit tracks including “Di Yen Anim” which got the audience in awe and other patrons entertained.

Dubbed “Di Yen Anim” the album contains five songs. They are [Seek Yee, Oreba, B3 S) Me Hw3, Abide In Me, and Press On].

Speaking to the media, the talented singer indicated that his inspiration for his songs is to produce something that will guide and inspire listeners globally to embrace spirituality and seek God’s guidance in their daily endeavors.

“The message, we are telling the whole world especially Ghanaians is that we need God in this end-time with ‘Di Yen Anim’ as guidance to do whatever we want to do in our real life situations we need God because with God all things are possible as the scripture says. At the end of the day, I want everyone to relate the message to his life to understand that we don’t need to serve anyone apart from the Almighty God,” he stated.

Chronicling how the album title came by, he said “This ‘Di Yen Anim’ was a message delivered to me by God through one of my dreams during one of my stays in Techiman in the Bono East but I did not pay attention to it however the same message reoccurred in my dreams where this time around I heard a voice singing the track, so I realized that it wasn’t an ordinary message thus, upon waking up and I picked my phone and recorded.

My friends encouraged me after narrating how everything unfolded in my dreams to them and without hesitation, we embarked on the journey and my team started mobilizing resources leading to where we are today for the official launch,” he added.

To him, the highly anticipated album launch came at the right time to rekindle his music career and to prove his mettle to fans and gospel music admirers, while leaving an indelible mark on patronisers to complement the biblical saying “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things shall be added unto you.”

He further appealed to Ghanaians most especially Churches to offer supportive hands to gospel musicians in the country to harness their talents for greater heights as financial constraints have killed the dreams of talented but poor musicians.

Kumawood actor Okomfo Kolege moderated the program with Christiana Awuni and top clergymen were all present to climax the colourful album launch.
