Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko captain, Daniel Nii Adjei has proposed that current players of the club will need a psychologist to help them turn things around from their recent abysmal performances.

Nii Adjei said there will be the need for the team to employ the services of a psychologist who can help the team back to winning ways.

“Where things are heading now, if we don’t get a psychologist for the players and all, it will be a worry…,” Onua FM’s Sports Centre while commenting on the team’s recent winless run.

The former midfielder added “the confidence level is absent or either gone down and the way the supporters are reacting, not every player has that confidence to stand talks like we will beat you. They can’t even play when on the pitch.”

The former player who also played for DR Congo side, TP Mazembe further urged the supporters to be patient.

“It is not easy but the little I can say is that they have to be patient with the players,” Daniel Nii Adjei said.

Nii Adjei further urged for calm on the incessant calls for the dismissal of the coach.

“I will beg for patience for him for supporters to wait for at least the end of this season so they can evaluate his performance.
