The Director of Operations for the Progressive Peoples Party, Devine Nkrumah, has stated that Ghanaians should disregard false hopes been churned out President Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party about finding solutions to the recent power outages.

He pointed out that ‘dumsor’ hasn’t stopped and claims of it has is false.

“Nana Akufo-Addo recently acknowledged the existence of ‘dumsor’ and his claim that it has been solved is not true,” Nkrumah stated Wednesday, May 08, 2024, on the Morning show on Angel TV and Angel 102.9 FM, Accra,

According to him, the current impasse has been politicized, therefore, no concrete solutions have been adopted to salvage the situation.

“NPP and Akufo-Addo are politiscising the power challenges and I think we have to put away all those things and find proper solution to the problem,” he added.

He stated that NPP have no practical solution to ‘dumsor’ and are just using mere climate change to deceive Ghanaians

“Do you know why they are telling us they are coming to fix the ‘dumsor,? As we are moving into the rainy season, consumption will  reduce and that is their plan just to capitalise on the situation to claim to have solved the problem.
