The 2024 Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will unveil his running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh in Kumasi on Tuesday.
His unveiling will be preceded by an official introduction of the running mate to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Asanteman Council on the same day.
The former Education Minister was selected as the official partner of the 2024 flagbearer after his nomination was approved by the National Council of the party during a meeting at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
NPP members in the Manhyia South Constituency where he is the Member of Parliament (MP) jubilated as he was named by the sitting Vice President as the running mate.
And his crowning moment will be at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi where he will be presented to the entire country.
