Prof John Asiedu Sarpong says the destruction of the country's major water bodies by galamseyers, further lay credence to his belief that the country is gradually decaying beyond repairs.

World renowned poet and Professor of Linguistics, Prof John Asiedu Sarpong has predicted that a Chinese national will become the President of Ghana soon.

According to the Septuagenarian, this prediction will come to pass by the next 30 years.

“I can see that very soon, a Chinese national will soon become President of this nation, Ghana…they will succeed because they’ve impregnated our women and given birth to their offsprings here so they’ll qualify to contest for President and this will happen in the next 30 years…,” he said.

Prof Sarpong during a chat with Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah on Angel Morning Show on Thursday, 12th September, 2024 said this is a testament of how low the country has sunk in recent times.

The destruction of the country’s major water bodies by galamseyers, he added, further lay credence to his belief that the country is gradually decaying beyond repairs.

“Even our football, which we once boasted with as a country is now destroyed, the respect Ghana used to enjoy in the international community is gradually fanning and we have to act fast…,” he added.

At 77, Prof Sarpong said he felt compelled to warn the nation before he finally departs the world for eternity.
