The Jospong Group says it remains committed to supporting the beneficiaries Youth Employment Agency (YEA) working under the sanitation module of Zoomlion.

The company in a statement issued Thursday, October 4, 2024, pledged to “work within the agreed framework and will continue to work closely with the government to ensure timely payments when funds are made available.”

The statement issued by the Communications Directorate of the waste management giants followed recent protest by some of the beneficiaries, particularly those in the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly over unpaid allowances running over six months.

“Over the years, Zoomlion has consistently delivered world-class waste management services to various MMDAs, resulting in a significant reduction in sanitation-related health issues across the country.

“We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of service delivery and compliance with all contractual obligations,” he company emphasised.
