A heart-wrenching scene unfolded early Wednesday, October 16, 2024, after  a pupil from Aboso Islamic Basic School was discovered hanging lifeless in an uncompleted building.

Eyewitnesses who gathered at the site were left in shock as the body of the deceased, believed to be in his teens, dangled from a rope tied to the ceiling of the unfinished structure.

Many expressed disbelief at the tragic loss, with some students recalling interactions with the young man just days before, unaware of any signs of distress.

Mental health advocates have taken this opportunity to remind the public about the importance of speaking up and seeking help when dealing with emotional or psychological challenges.

They are urging individuals facing difficulties to reach out to trusted persons, organizations, or professionals for support.

The police are expected to issue a formal statement following further investigations into the incident.

Meanwhile, the body has been transported to the morgue for an autopsy.

Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and the entire Aboso Islamic Basic School community during this difficult time.
