Former Member of Parliament (MP) Dadekotopon Constituency of Accra, Nii Amassah Namoale, says Ghana will see a lot of progress if John Dramani Mahama becomes the next president in January 2025.

According to the former MP, the country’s lost glory will be restored under the next National Democratic Congress (NDC), administration led by former President John Mahama.

He told the host of Angel Morning Show, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by Nanat Akufo-Addo has destroyed the country through its economic mismanagement and incompetence.

But an adamant Namoale was confident that the NDC will unseat the NPP in the December 7, 2024, elections to enable them give Ghanaians a good governance.

“Former President John Mahama is already known for his track record as a statesman, so he is coming back to move this country forward,” he stated.

The politician who was recently called to the bar added “We [NDC] and John Mahama will make sure that Ghanaians get the Ghana we want.”

He further questioned the candidacy of the NPP’s flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and stated that the latter is inexperienced and doubts his preparedness for the Ghana presidency.

According to him, a country with its economic difficulties needs an experienced leader and not an experiment person.

“In this destruction state of Ghana, we need an experienced man and not someone who is coming to experiment,” he stated.
