A senior member of the Movement for Change, Nana Yaw Sarpong, has cautioned the General Manager of the Ghana Industrial Holding Corporation (GIHOC), Maxwell Kofi Jumah, also known as Kofi Ghana to stop disrepecting the Presidential Candidate of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyeremanten.

This caution follows beliefs in certain quarters that the vociferous manager has made up his mind to disrespect Alan Kyeremanten.

“Anytime he is given a political opposition to speak, he wants to use that opportunity to disrespect Alan Kyeremanten to the extent that he insulted Mama Pat when he was contesting him, which he is against anyone on the other side; he wants to use that opportunity to insult the person,” he stated.

Speaking on the Angel Morning Show on Thursday, November 21, 2024, he stated that Kofi Ghana’s performance at GIHOC has been poor hence he lacks the moral right to criticise Alan Kyeremanten who succeeded at the Trades Ministry.

“What has been his achievement at GIHOC that he is questioning the achievements and accomplishments of Alan Kyeremanten? I am questioning his achievement as Mayor of Kumasi, even in the party. I can provide evidence; Alan was the chairman of the Young Executive Forum (YEF). This YEF provided the party`s headquarters,” he said.

Nana Yaw Sarpong argued that Kofi Ghana’s achievement cannot be compared to that of Alan Kyeremanten so he should stop disrespecting Alan’s achievement.

“At the age 74, I don’t want to go on that tangent with him; therefore, the opportunity given to him to speak on air should be used to promote peace in Ghana for this year’s election and also for him to respect himself and Alan Kyeremanten’s candidature,” he added.
