The Strong Woman Changemaker Africa, a locally registered non-profit organisation, has targeted to feed at least 1,000 homeless people this Christmas.

The ‘Operation feed the streets’ is a heartwarming initiative to share love, hope and kindness with the less fortunate, Founder of SWOCA, Ms Agnes Lamisi Adene told Angelonline.com.gh.

“This festive season, as we gather with family and friends, let us not forget those who call the streets their home,” Ms Adene pleaded, adding that, “the streets are filled with individuals whose stories are often untold.”

She added that: “As changemakers, we believe that no one deserves to go hungry, especially during this time of joy and thanksgiving.”

“Through this initiative, we aim to bring smiles to faces, fill hearts with hope, and remind everyone that they are seen, valued, and loved,” she stated.

Individuals who wish to support this initiative make financial contributions via mobile money on 056711065. For those who wish to donate food items to volunteer to be part of the that will hit the streets to serve and share, they can call +233275789705 or +233243439019 for further information.

Ms Adene emphasised that “By sharing your substance— be it food, clothing, or your time —you can make an impact far greater than you imagine.”
