The Office of the President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama, has officially refuted lists circulating on social media and other platforms, which claim to be appointments and nominations made by him.
In a statement dated Monday, December 16, 2024, and signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President-Elect, the office categorically described the circulating lists as “false and unauthorised”.
The statement further urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and to rely only on official communications from Mahama’s office.
This clarification follows the circulation of a purported list on social media detailing appointments and nominations to various Ministries and state institutions after John Mahama’s victory as President-Elect of the Republic of Ghana.
