A member of the Communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer K.K. Serbeh has express worry of the seeming lukewarm attitude of the President, John Mahama towards the growing lawlessness in the country.
The deafening silence of the President, the NPP member speaking on Angel Morning Show on Monday said has led to the belief amongst some NDC members that they ‘can do anything they wish with freedom.’
During a panel discussion with Saddick Adams, he mentioned that Ghanaians who voted for President Mahama is increasingly becoming disappointed that the President is silent on the developments.
“It has never happened anywhere and they assume with impunity they can do whatever they want because their government is in power…this is what has brought us to where we are,” he said.
He further called on Ghanaians to speak against the ills being propagated by the NDC supporters since that is the only way of nibbing it in the bud.
“What is happening right now in the country is appalling and if there is a president, which I believe there is a president in this country then he should make a firm decision and enforce it.
“The statements are too much, if you ask ANGLO GOLD to pay the medical bills then what are you going to investigate. Are you going to bring out any outcomes that will be different from the statement that has been released?” he said.
