A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Musah Superior has claimed that almost all officers and executives in the party know the reasons behind the party’s heavy defeat in the 2024 elections.

In an interview with Saddick Adams on the Angel Morning Show on Friday 24th February, 2025, Musa Superior mentioned that the national chairman announced that he will set up a committee this January to investigate their defeat.

“That committee is not necessary because they are going to investigate what we already know and it is waste of resources…the General Secretary has been saying that the reason why we lost is because we did not treat the party supporters fairly while in office…the general secretary even said in some cases that it was spiritual which is the biggest joke in the world,” he said.

All these reasons, the NPP leading member said are cover ups.

“And I think the party people deserve an apology because he knows why we lost and there are two reasons which are the absolute failure of the current national officers of the party and the way and manner the former president conducted himself in government,” he said.

He mentioned that “if we prepare ourselves and work hard and fix the party and get a correct and very brave and courageous leadership I’m sure we will bounce back in 2028.”
