The Tema West Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwasi Poku, has urged members of the party to be guided by the kinds of things they say while in opposition.
According to him, the current ministerial vetting has exposed some ministers due to previous comments they while the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) was in position.
“NPP should be mindful of their utterances. They should avoid vulgar language, thinking it will benefit them in the future. Sam George’s previous statements have caused him problems today,” he stated.
He noted that arrogant and negative remarks contributed to the NPP losing the 2024 general elections, urging the party to exercise caution while in opposition. Additionally, he emphasised the need for them to tone down on their language as they are not in power.
