FIDO Microcredit Limited donated materials worth GH¢70,000 to support the victims of the Kantamanto fire disaster on Friday, February 28, 2025.

The contribution is aimed at helping the affected individuals rebuild their properties and restart their businesses, following the disaster which struck on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Chief Executive Officer of FIDO Microcredit Limited, Sebastian Quansah, along with his management team, made the donation which were in the form of building materials to assist those impacted by the fire.

“My team and I realized that several of the market’s gates were destroyed in the blaze. We decided to donate GH¢70,000 worth of building materials to help rebuild two of the gates and support the overall restoration of lost properties,” he explained during the ceremony.

Mr. Aikins Boakye Mensah, an executive member of the Kantamanto disaster committee, expressed gratitude for the donation.
