Ghanaian actress and TV hostess, Nana Ama McBrown, has shared her personal story of becoming a mother, revealing the challenges she faced and the unconventional path she took to achieve her dream.

In a candid interview, Nana Ama McBrown confessed that she had always imagined herself getting married before having a child.

However, as she focused on building her career, she began to worry about her ability to conceive.

“I would cry sometimes, feeling like I wasn’t giving birth and when I saw my friends having children, I would wonder, ‘Will I ever have a child?’ It seemed like I wasn’t ready, and I wasn’t working towards it,” she emphasized .

According to her, she consulted with doctors, inquiring about the possibility of having a child through alternate means like In vitro fertilization( IVF).

“Fortunately, technology was on my side in my era so I opted for IVF, and I asked my doctors, ‘What if it doesn’t come naturally? Is there a possibility of having a child?’ I was willing to undergo the process multiple times if needed,” she added.

Additionally she asserted that she gave birth to her child at the age of 41, just before turning 42. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed no regrets about prioritizing her career before becoming a mother.
