Spanish giants, Real Madrid, in conjunction with La Liga outfit, Leganes, have honoured Ghana legend, Rev Osei Kofi in Spain for his impacts made on football in the 60s.

After his thrilling football career, winning two AFCONS for Ghana, winning laurels with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko, Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Leganes made it a great deal to honour such a personality.

In an exclusive chat with the son of Rev. Osei Kofi, Emmanuel Osei Yaw revealed to Angel Sports that, Leganes recognise his father as a football icon in Africa.

“Madrid and Leganes believe that Rev. Osei Kofi has been impactful to the history of African Football. In 1962, Real Madrid played Ghana in Accra Sports Stadium in a friendly game, and Rev Osei Kofi was in his element and won the hearts of the Spaniards as the game ended 3-3
