Vice President, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has extended her Eid Mubarak wishes to the Muslim community in the country.

She prayed to Allah for renewed strength, joy, and peace for all Muslims in the country.

In a statement issued on her Facebook page on Monday, March 31, 2025, the Vice President expressed her gratitude for their Islamic faith and appreciated their values and dedication to national development.

She further acknowledged their sacrifices for the Ghanaian community, which have contributed to enriching Ghana and the world at large.

“On this blessed occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. Your dedication, values, and contributions enrich our nation and the world. May this celebration bring you joy, peace, and renewed strength,” parts of her statement said.

She also took the opportunity to thank the general public for sharing in her sentiments by wishing her a speedy recovery following her sudden illness over the weekend.

“Likewise, I would like to say thank you to everyone for the kind sentiments and well wishes this weekend,” she stated.
