Management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has distanced itself from the alleged destruction of property belonging to some Turkish investors by purported “Zoomlion landguards.”

In response to a publication carried in the Daily Guide newspaper on Monday, April 7, 2025, the country’s leading waste management firm debunked the claims.

Zoomlion’s rebuttal is contained in a statement issued by its Communications Directorate and copied to Angelonline.com.gh

“Management wishes to state, in no uncertain terms, that Zoomlion Ghana Limited does not employ, contract, or engage the services of landguards, nor is it involved in any unlawful or outlawed activities.

The company operates in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana and remains committed to ethical business practices.”

The statement further noted that, as a private entity, it firmly believes in development through collaboration and has had the privilege of working with several reputable foreign firms.

Therefore, it describes as both “misleading and unjustifiable for any individual or entity to associate Zoomlion with acts of violence or destruction.”

“We unequivocally deny these allegations. We further advise that any grievances or concerns be addressed through the appropriate legal channels, in accordance with the rule of law.”

According to Zoomlion Ghana Limited, it is a responsible corporate entity that upholds the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all its dealings.

Emphasising its commitment to lawful operations and fully supporting the role of the judiciary in the resolution of any disputes, it called on the public to disregard the reportage.

“We urge the general public and our stakeholders to disregard these unfounded allegations and remain assured of our continued commitment to lawful and sustainable development,” part of the statement reads.
