A Deputy National Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jennifer Queen, has claimed that the government intends to arrest Assin South MP, Rev. Ntim Fodjour’s, following his allegations of cocaine trafficking and money laundering at Kotoka International Airport.
Ms Queen indicated that the actions and inactions of government communicators on the issue point to a plot to have the lawmaker arrested.
“Felix Kwakye Ofosu should calm down. He is a minister of state and a government spokesperson, but is he also serving as the mouthpiece for the security agencies from whom we are demanding answers?
“Why doesn’t he allow the security agencies to explain things better to Ghanaians,” she questioned on the Angel Morning Show (AMS).
She also questioned the stance of government communicators and criticized their approach.
“Let us know what is happening, because you cannot throw accusations into the system and then leave us in fear and panic. And when the man demands answers, you all turn against him with insults and a whole lot.
“You know what they are doing, they just want to arrest the man,” she stated.
